Sinat Giwa, who passed on July 18, 2023, leaves behind an enduring legacy in the world of African art and culture. A Ghanaian-Nigerian Chicago native and NYU graduate, Sinat was a celebrated event producer, talent programmer, and cultural tastemaker, known for her compassion, advocacy, and dedication to uplifting Black narratives. She led cultural initiatives with organizations like Spotify Africa, Lincoln Center, and AFROPUNK, later co-founding FourTwo Creative, a 360 creative agency. Sinat's work united global artists and communities, inspiring countless lives and cementing her as a generational creative force.

In honor of Sinat Giwa's extraordinary legacy, her family has established the Sinat’s Reach Foundation to continue her mission of uplifting communities. Through the foundation, we are committed to providing safe and sustainable water wells across Ghana, addressing the critical need for accessible clean water—a resource that is essential for health, education, and the well-being of families.

The Sinat’s Reach Foundation is dedicated to enriching communities by providing clean and reliable water sources across Ghana. By reducing the burden of water scarcity, we aim to improve public health, support education, and foster community development. With each water well we establish, we honor Sinat’s legacy of compassion, advocacy, and service to her community.
